BIAXPLEN collects 40 cu m of waste from around its facilities in April and May

BIAXPLEN has collected 40 cu m of waste as part of its environmental clean-up days initiative in Zheleznodorozhny (Balashikha), Kursk, Balakhna, Novokuybyshevsk and Tomsk. Over 100 of the company’s employees cleaned up lorry parks, hard shoulders of adjacent roads, and railway tracks. The waste was sorted, separated and sent for disposal.

Every spring, BIAXPLEN employees take part in clean-up days within and outside its premises. SIBUR’s sustainable development concept places a special emphasis on events that promote environmental awareness and responsibility among its staff.

Since 2017, BIAXPLEN has been participating in the Green Spring clean-up initiative by V.I. Vernadsky Non-governmental Ecological Foundation. In 2021, the event is held from 24 April to 24 May. The areas cleaned up by BIAXPLEN were marked on a national clean-up map.
