SIBUR Group and URALCHEM Holding have signed an agreement for the sale of a 51.22% stake in OJSC "Mineral Fertilizers" (Perm).

The RusVinyl project finance deal between RusVinyl, SIBUR, SolVin and a group of international banks was recognised as the stand-out European deal in the petrochemical sector of 2011, according to the renowned British finance publication Project Finance International.

CJSC "SIBUR Holding" and CJSC "Holding Company "Siberian Business Union" have signed an agreement for the sale of a 100% stake in OJSC "SIBUR- Fertilizers".

Following the Agreement of 25 July 2011 between SIBUR Holding CJSC, Pirelli Tyre S.P.A. and State Company Russian Technologies, the sale of the Kirov Tyre Plant JSC to the JV of Pirelli and Russian Technologies closed on 14 December 2011.

Within the framework of the working visit to China by Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, one of the world's largest energy and chemical companies, China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation and Russia’s leading petrochemical holding company SIBUR have entered into a Memorandum of Extended Cooperation on the possible formation of two joint ventures for the production of nitrile rubber (NBR) in Krasnoyarsk and Shanghai.

CITCO Waren-Handelsgesellschaft m.b.H trading company has changed its name to SIBUR International GmbH. The company’s director, Victor Viehweg has been replaced by SIBUR’s Vice President for Corporate Governance and Development, Mikhail Mikhailov. The company’s new Executive Director is Ilya Gustchin, who previously held the post of Deputy Manager for Economics and Finance of the Plastics and Organic Synthesis Division.

By the decision of the sole participant in “SIBUR” LLC, dated August 4, 2011, the articles of association were amended, whereby the position of “President” in relation to the person heading SIBUR, has been changed to “CEO”. Also due to the redistribution of powers of the Board of JSC “SIBUR Holding” in favour of the Board of “SIBUR” LLC, the quantitative composition of the Board of JSC “SIBUR Holding” has been reduced to five persons, according to a decision taken by the Board of Directors on August 25, 2011.

SIBUR has bought JSC Acrylate - the only CIS-based producer of acrylic acid and its esters  - from ATEK Group

Pirelli, Russian Technologies and Sibur Holding today signed an agreement which identifies the assets to transfer to the joint venture being formed by Pirelli and Russian Technologies. This joint venture will be the primary vehicle for the management of assets which are convertible to Pirelli standards in the car and light truck sectors in Russia, in line with the terms of the memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed on November 26th, 2010.
